UPS System

New UPS hardware and software links UPS to Gallagher Fluid Seals' system by Gallagher invoice number or customer purchase order number. Gallagher is now able to get tracking numbers and track shipments instantly. Tracking information will be emailed directly to our customers.

Customers can be set up to receive shipping notifications from UPS via email the minute the order is shipped. The email will contain a direct link to the tracking information as well as the both the customer's and Gallagher's order numbers.

Shipping procedure has now been reduced to a few simple keystrokes and greatly reduces the margin of error. All tracking information is linked directly to Gallagher's system.

Hydraulic Pump Housing Static O-ring seal- Parker KB163-90

A customer needed a seal material that could withstand temperatures of 300°F in hydraulic pump housing. Peroxide-cured 90 durometer nitrile O-rings had been used for years, but as application temperatures approached 300°F, the service of the seal dropped significantly.

Parker HNBR compound KB163-90 was tested with excellent results. The compound offers an outstanding combination of high temperature stability, low compression set, extrusion resistance and hydraulic fluid compatability. Acidic hydraulic fluid and water can severly damage some seal materials, but KB163-90 is not affected.
Fire Resistance is a quality commonly needed in stationary hydraulic installations. Water-glycol blends, water-oil emulsions, and PAG-based hydraulic fluids offer low flammability but tend to destroyed some seal materials. KB163-90 can handle these hydraulic fluids without significant impact.

ProTech™ Bearing Isolators by Parker
Parker's ProTech™ Bearing Isolators use a sophisticated internal labyrinth designed for two-way sealing, zero lubricant leakage and total exclusionof contaminants. This feature allows ProTech™ to exclude contaminants without using an internal o-ring as the primary sealing component. The ProTech™ Bearing Isolator is available in various designs to handle tough applications in food processing, mining, steel, chemical, and paper industries. Standard designs are available for most common pumps, motors, gearboxes, turbines, and split pillow block bearings. Available in standard or anti-microbial PTFE material; the seal will not rust, offers superior chemical resistance and will exclude contaminants to levels of IP55, IP56, IP66, and IP69K.

All ProTech™ Bearing Isolators feature the following:
PTFE materials for chemical resistance and low torque consumption
Fewer working components
Significantly lower cost
Easier to install than traditional bearing isolators
Accommodates greater shaft misalignment and eccentricity
Self-aligning
Requires no lubrication
Non-contact design for no wear and no heat generation
Total exclusion of dust, water, and other contaminants
Zero lubricant leakage
987 No metallic dusting to contaminate bearings
988 Available in food grade materials
